Copying and pasting from pages in your old site to pages in your new site is strongly discouraged, as links within the site will not work. Instead, see the quick steps for importing content between sites.
How Can I Create A Syllabus In Canvas, And Then Share It With The Syllabus Search Program?
“Syllabus Search” is a Canvas tool that provides instructors the opportunity to share course syllabi with students in the BC Canvas community. When an instructor chooses to share their syllabus, it becomes searchable in the “syllabus search” database and allows students to make more informed decisions during the course registration and drop/add periods. View the instructions for sharing your syllabus to the Syllabus Search program.
How Do I Add Students To My Canvas Course?
Instructors cannot add students to their Canvas course directly. To add students, click on the “publish’ tab on the main course page. Students will be added to Canvas within 24 hours.
Who Can Assist Me With Adding Readings To Canvas?
Library staff can assist you in placing items on course reserve, whether by reserving texts for students to check out of the library or by scanning book chapters and journal articles for digital viewing. Review library guidelines on course reserves to submit your initial requests. All materials will be available in Canvas under the “Library Resources” link in the navigation menu. Visit the Library-Canvas integration guide for more information.
